CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATIONS (CEDI) AND CAPE COAST NORTH ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING (CCNET) OFFICE INAUGURATED AT CCTU

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Innovations (CEDI) has been inaugurated. The inauguration of the Centre was done during the launch of the Cape Coast North Entrepreneurial Training (CCNET), a Special Initiative of the MP for Cape Coast North Constituency, Hon. Barbara Asher Ayisi. CCNET is a joint project of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Innovations (CEDI), Cape Coast Technical University and the Barbara Asher Foundation (BAF). The main aim of CCNET is to provide hands-on training to the unskilled youth and women in the Cape Coast North Constituency and beyond.

The official tape cutting to open the offices of CEDI and CCNET was performed by Miss Lydia Atiemo, Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Administration, Youth Employment Agency. She was joined by Prof. S.Yeboah Mensah, the Chairman for the occasion, the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North Constituency and Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Barbara Asher Ayisi, the Vice Chancellor of CCTU, Prof. Lawrence Atepor, the Acting Executive Director of COTVET, Dr Fred Asamoah, and the MCE of Cape Coast, Hon. Ernest Arthur. 

The inauguration saw in attendance the Pro Vice Chancellor of CCTU, Prof. Samuel K. Ansah, the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof. G.K.T Oduro, Prof. Amonoo-Kuofie, Provost, College of Allied Health Sciences, University of Cape Coast, Prof. Patrick Agbesinyale, Director, Institute for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast, Key officers and staff of CCTU and a host of other high ranking personalities.
