CAPE COAST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY CLINIC TO BE UPGRADED INTO HOSPITAL

The Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), Governing Council has expressed its determination to upgrade the University Clinic into a modern Hospital with the state of-the-art facilities and logistics to befit it status as a university.

The move is geared towards giving the centre a strong boost to deliver on its core mandate of providing efficient, reliable and effective health services to the University and its satellite communities.

Reverend Professor Harold Amonoo-Kuofi, Council Chair of the Region's premier Technical University gave the hint when he led a team of delegation on a working visit to the facility.

He was accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Right Reverend Professor Joshua Danso Owusu-Sekyere, Mr. Wilfred Kobina Boney, Librarian, Mrs. Fanny Darkey, Acting Registrar, and Prof. Samuel Owusu-Mintah, Pro Vice Chancellor.

They encouraged the healthcare personnel and also acquainted themselves with their operations and their challenges and urged them to work with one accord in finding lasting solutions to the challenges.

Prof. Amonoo-Kuofi applauded the health personnel for working tirelessly to provide the health needs of the people regardless of the challenges and reminded them to exhibit high degree of professionalism, self-discipline, commitment to duty and eschew any bad deeds that will soil their had won reputation and profession.
